I thoroughly enjoyed reading Go West. I found it easy read with some very good lessons in life to follow to help other people reach their goals and also on how to focus when things become difficult.Jeremy bares his soul in this book, demonstrating how when he wander d from his focus on God how things did not go well for him. His principles to living a meaningful and productive life served me as a good reminder on how to continue to focus on God during difficult times. I particularly appreciated his first point, "Lend a Hand". It reminded me to always encourage people to follow his or her dreams and, if possible, to give them the means to pursue or follow his or her dreams.I highly encourage people to purchase and read Jeremy's book, it is a great story of how, even in unusual cercumstances, to achieve their goals in life. He also discusses how to a meaningful life after achieving their goal, even f their goal is to become a professional bullfighter.His book is on the shelf next to another book I reference during rough times.
I read a lot of books on leadership, management and leadership. I really didn't expect this book to fall into the category. I chose it because I was looking for something different from my norm and Jeremy was from the same area I grew up in Arkansas. The book is outstanding. We all have a few books that really influence us as people and our lives. To date two have stood out for me Steven Covers Seven Habits and David Allen's getting things done. Go West is now on my list and was a much more entertaing read. Read the book and embrace the 10 principles and I believe you will show up in the world as better spouse, leader, parent and person.
